Volleyball Recap: East Lincoln Takes a Loss

East Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Kings Mountain Mountaineers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 15-25, 25-15.

Leading Kings Mountain to victory were Ava Tipton and Ava Broome. Tipton had 18 digs and two assists, while Broome had nine digs. That's the most digs Broome has posted since back in September.

East Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Kings Mountain, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 28-1.

East Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kings Mountain, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Huss on the 9th.
