Basketball Recap: Metea Valley Comes Up Short

Metea Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the New Trier Trevians, falling 49-21.

Metea Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for New Trier, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Metea Valley and New Trier will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Mustangs see the court they'll take on Glenbard West at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for New Trier, their break will end when they face Fishers at 10:30 a.m. on January 2, 2026.
