Maryville Christian won the last time they faced Metro-East Lutheran and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Maryville Christian took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9.

Kinsley Ballard paced Maryville Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Ballard got some help from Ella Partney and her 17 assists. Partney also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brooklynn Thien, each putting up three.

Maryville Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
