Greenville extended their winning streak to 16 on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 18-1 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Troy Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 last Friday.

As for Troy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-7. The game marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

For Troy's part, Julia Rose spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, Troy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amayah Kennedy, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will welcome Stivers School for the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Troy, they will challenge Miamisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
