Softball Game Preview: Stevenson Pirates vs. North Monterey County Condors

The Stevenson Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the North Monterey County Condors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stevenson is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Carmel hit Stevenson with a four-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates lost 12-4 to the Padres.

Maria Hall was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, North Monterey County came up short against Rancho San Juan on Friday, falling 15-1. The Condors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for North Monterey County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.

Stevenson came out on top in a nail-biter against North Monterey County in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
