Wesson took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Bogue Chitto Bobcats, posting a 46-8 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cobras in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Wesson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Landon Cole and Patrick Shannon. Shannon got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Wesson has already played their next game, a 44-15 win against North Pike on the 5th. As for Bogue Chitto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-3 defeat against Pisgah on the 5th.
