Softball Recap: Treutlen Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Treutlen and Trion squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Treutlen had to settle for second. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Vikings haven't been shut out since back in September.

Treutlen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Rogers, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Treutlen moved to 18-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Trion, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

While Treutlen had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
