Volleyball Recap: South Pontotoc Comes Up Short

South Pontotoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the West Union Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

South Pontotoc's defeat dropped their record down to 11-20-2. As for West Union, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 14-14-1.

South Pontotoc didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Mooreville on the 4th. As for West Union, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Falkner on the 4th.
