Basketball Game Preview: Wilmington Wildcats vs. Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers

The Wilmington Wildcats will take on the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Wilmington came up short against Dwight and fell 43-35. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Joliet Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 63-42 to Bishop McNamara. While losing is never fun, the Hilltoppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Fightin' Irish are ranked 82nd).

Joliet Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Wilmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.
