Basketball Recap: Riverview Academy Takes a Loss

Riverview Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Patel Trailblazers. The Barracudas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trailblazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Riverview Academy's record is now 0-3. As for Patel, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Riverview Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Barracudas will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Patel, they will face off against Zephyrhills at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
