The Bishop Gorman Gaels will head out on the road to face off against the Western Warriors at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Gorman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Bishop Gorman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Faith Lutheran, who was ranked ninth at the time (Bishop Gorman was ranked 13th). The Gaels fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2 on Monday. It was the first time this season that Bishop Gorman let down their fans at home.

Alexander Chandra and Chase Stewart scored both of Bishop Gorman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Meanwhile, Western's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palo Verde. Western haven't had much luck with Palo Verde recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bishop Gorman suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 7-6-2. As for Western, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Everything went Bishop Gorman's way against Western in their previous matchup back in September, as Bishop Gorman made off with a 5-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gaels since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
