KIPP San Jose Collegiate lost against Design Tech back in September of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolfpack lost 3-0 to the Dragons. The Wolfpack's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While KIPP San Jose Collegiate was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-22, 25-16.

Eliot Trainor had a dynamite game For Design Tech., getting seven digs and six aces. Chloe Lok also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Design Tech, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-5.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Waldorf on the 22nd. As for Design Tech, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against The Nueva School on the 23rd.
