Volleyball Recap: East Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

East won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 3-1 win over the Indians. The victory was some much needed relief for the Thunderbirds as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Hannah Janes paced East's offense, picking up 13 kills. Janes got some help from Charli Cameron and her 25 assists. Karley Schuessler and Gabby Alvarado kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

The win got East back to even at 8-8. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Coincidentally, East and Central will both be playing Thunder Basin the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Bolts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Thunderbirds will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
