Baseball Recap: Carlson's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trenton, Carlson was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Flat Rock Rams a 4-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Marauders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The result came thanks to Joseph Krolak's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Lloyd, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Preston Eighmey was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
