They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mandeville Skippers on Tuesday, sneaking past 64-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since November 17, 2023.

Independence's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Anderson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Anderson a new career-high in field goal percentage (78%). Haymann Milton was another key player, as he made all 6 shots he took racking up 16 points and three steals.
