Volleyball Recap: Parkway Central Colts vs. Seckman Jaguars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Louis University, Parkway Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Seckman Jaguars.
Parkway Central never let Seckman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.
Cole Hoehn paced Parkway Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Hoehn got some help from Spencer Duvall and his 24 assists. Duvall was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Parkway Central is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6-1 record this season. As for Seckman, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-20.
