Baseball Recap: Basha Find Success

Basha never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Sunnyslope Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

The result came thanks to Zach Bolles's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Basha is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-11-1 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Alex Garrido was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Basha's victory bumped their record up to 11-12-1. As for Sunnyslope, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Basha will square off against Tolleson at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunnyslope, they will face off against Brophy College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
