Basketball Recap: TE'rez HOLMES Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat South Lake

Center Line hadn't done well against South Lake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Center Line Panthers enjoyed a cozy 46-32 win over the South Lake Cavaliers. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Center Line got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was TE'REZ HOLMES out in front who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards. HOLMES has become a key player for Center Line: the team is 17-4 when he posts at least eight rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of KAMEREN HIGGINBOTHAM, who posted 11 points along with six boards and five assists.

Center Line's record now sits at 18-6. As for South Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Coming up, Center Line will take on Notre Dame Prep in a tournament on Tuesday. Center Line is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season. South Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
