St. Pius X proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bishop Miege Stags, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was nothing new for St. Pius X as they're now sitting on three straight.

St. Pius X's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bishop Miege, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will venture away from home to face off against Blue Valley North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Miege, they will head out to square off against St. James Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. James Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Bishop Miege surely won't give up without a fight.
