Football Recap: Wilcox Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wilcox Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 66-0 loss at the hands of the Thomasville Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Tigers are ranked 138th).

Wilcox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Thomasville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Wilcox Central and Thomasville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Jaguars see the field they'll take on Dallas County at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Thomasville, their break will end when they face Thorsby at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
