The Mill Creek Hawks will face off against the North Gwinnett Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mill Creek's offense has struggled lately (they haven't scored a point in four consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.
Mill Creek's offense might be in the hot seat on Wednesday considering what happened against North Forsyth on Monday. They were dealt a 31-0 defeat at the hands of the Raiders.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Wednesday. North Gwinnett strolled past Forsyth Central with points to spare, taking the game 25-7.
A big part of North Gwinnett's victory came down to the chemistry between Mia Sereno and her top target Maia Brock. Sereno threw for 226 yards and a pair of TDs while Brock picked up 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Gwinnett didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Presley Steger and Kayla Smith. Smith has been hot recently, having also posted two or more defended passes the last three times she's played.
Mill Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Gwinnett, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
