Soccer Recap: Corydon Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Corydon Central lost against Silver Creek back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Dragons who were credited with the win. The Silver Creek Dragons got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Corydon Central Panthers' one. Corydon Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Corydon Central's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-6-1. As for Silver Creek, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1.

Coincidentally, Corydon Central and Silver Creek will both be playing Charlestown the next time they take the pitch. The Dragons will head out to face the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
