Basketball Game Preview: Benton Panthers vs. Lake Hamilton Wolves

The Benton Panthers will take on the Lake Hamilton Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Benton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Pine Bluff 70-16 on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lake Hamilton came up short against Lakeside on Tuesday and fell 77-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

Benton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points over those games. As for Lake Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Benton came up short against Lake Hamilton in their previous meeting back in January, falling 48-44. Can Benton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
