Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osage City). They were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over the West Franklin Falcons on Thursday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Madalyn Mullinix, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had over her last 11 matchups. Another player making a difference was Gracie Hokanson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Osage City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They are 9-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Osage City now has a winning record of 12-11. As for West Franklin, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Osage City beat the Falcons by a score of 15-5 later that day.
