Volleyball Recap: Greencastle-Antrim Find Success

Greencastle-Antrim's tournament run continued when they took on Manheim Township on Saturday. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Blue Streaks by a score of 2-0.

Greencastle-Antrim easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Abigail Eagler paced Greencastle-Antrim's offense, picking up 11 kills. Eagler were helped by Kylie Kerns and Kaitlyn Alvey, who contributed eight assists each. Alvey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Greencastle-Antrim's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-2.

Greencastle-Antrim wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Trinity on the 30th. As for Manheim Township, they will face off against Cedar Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
