Volleyball Recap: West Geauga Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aurora, West Geauga was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Trinity Trojans by a score of 3-1. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

West Geauga had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-14, 25-12, 25-11.

West Geauga's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Trinity, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, West Geauga will challenge Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity, they will face off against Cuyahoga Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
