Chester picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against American Leadership Academy by a score of 9-5.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lancaster). They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over Dreher on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Ethan Bufford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 4-for-5.
