Preview: Forrest Rockets vs. Cascade Champions
Forrest is 9-1 against Cascade since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Forrest Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cascade Champions at 6:00 p.m. Forrest has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 21.
Forrest managed to keep up with Community until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Forrest suffered a rough 61-36 defeat at the hands of Community. Forrest has struggled against Community recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Cascade scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-49 win over Grundy County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cascade.
Forrest bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cascade, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
Forrest strolled past Cascade when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 47-28. Does Forrest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cascade turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
