Hampton entered their tilt with Menchville on Saturday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They claimed a resounding 61-29 win over the Menchville Monarchs. The Crabbers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Hampton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abraham Taft, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 20 points and six boards. Taft is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last seven games he's played. Gavin Kay was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Hampton pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points over those games. As for Menchville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will challenge Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Bethel likes a good challenge. As for Menchville, they will face off against Denbigh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
