Baseball Recap: Jumpertown Comes Up Short

Jumpertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Myrtle Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Jumpertown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Myrtle, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Myrtle beat Jumpertown by a score of 16-0 later that day.
