Liberty Magnet had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Slaughter Community Charter Knights by a score of 15-10 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 24-21 back in March.

Liberty Magnet got a massive performance out of Owen Ellis, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Ellis is becoming a predictor of the Patriots' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 7-13 when he doesn't). Demond Thomas was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing seven bases while going 2-for-3.
