Fernley strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Trinity Wolves by a score of 54-44.

Trinity lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Braelynn Nugent, who posted eight points in addition to seven steals and three blocks. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Claire Cox was another key player, shooting 71% from the field to rack up 10 points.

Fernley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Trinity, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Fernley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-46 victory against Pyramid Lake on the 6th. As for Trinity, they have also already played their next game, a 68-54 loss against University Prep on the 8th.
