Volleyball Game Preview: Pullman Greyhounds vs. Selah Vikings

The Pullman Greyhounds will venture away from home to take on the Selah Vikings at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pullman heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Saturday. They came up short against West Valley, falling 3-0. The Greyhounds' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

While Pullman was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 28-26, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Selah suffered their biggest defeat since October 6th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Ellensburg. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Pullman's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Selah, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 16-6.

Everything went Pullman's way against Selah in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Pullman made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Greyhounds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
