Jackson and Strong Rock Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Jackson Red Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Strong Rock Christian Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackson has given up an average of 4.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Jackson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Morgan County on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Bulldogs. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Strong Rock Christian played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Westfield School by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Strong Rock Christian hit Westfield School with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Megan Carnot, Briley Buckner, and Mary Cate Davis.

Strong Rock Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Jackson couldn't quite get it done against Strong Rock Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Jackson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
