Basketball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short

Eastern Guilford lost against High Point Central back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eastern Guilford Wildcats were outmatched by the High Point Central Bison and fell 74-32. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Bison are ranked 56th).

Eastern Guilford's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for High Point Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Eastern Guilford and Eastern Alamance will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. High Point Central will take on Southwest Guilford in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
