The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets were the 70-62 winner over the Juniata Valley Hornets when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Southern Huntingdon County took a serious blow against Juniata Valley on Saturday, falling 58-26.

Juniata Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Robinson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Chris Deihl, who scored 17 points along with 7 steals.

Southern Huntingdon County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Juniata Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Southern Huntingdon County will head out on the road to face off against Northern Bedford County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Juniata Valley, they will be playing at home against Glendale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
