Basketball Recap: South Hamilton Wins Going Away Against Perry

South Hamilton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Perry Bluejays by a score of 39-29. The matchup marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Despite the loss, Perry saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Myers dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Myers has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 15 times she's played. Karagyn Whelchel was another key player, putting up seven points.

South Hamilton moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Perry, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

South Hamilton will venture away from home to take on Greene County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they will host Grand View Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
