Recap: Putnam County War Eagles vs. Greene County Tigers

The Putnam County War Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 80-76 win over Greene County. Putnam County's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Putnam County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Bonner, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The match was Bonner's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jmari Greene, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds.

Putnam County pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Greene County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
