Volleyball Recap: Seward Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Seward lost against Homer back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seahawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mariners. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Homer found their leader in sophomore Piper Fuchs, who had 30 digs and four assists. Those 30 digs set a new season-high mark for Fuchs. Another player making a difference was Almalinda Norman, who had 19 digs and two aces.

Seward's loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Homer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 30-16-3.

Seward does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Homer, they will square off against Kenai Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
