St. Joseph Central put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Calhoun Red Devils. This was payback for the Irish, who suffered a 6-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Wyatt Pence spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, St. Joseph Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Kellar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

St. Joseph Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Calhoun, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
