Softball Recap: Cor Jesu Academy vs. Oakville Tigers
Cor Jesu Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Oakville on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. Isabelle Hochmuth was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Belz, who went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.
Even though they lost, Cor Jesu Academy didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with seven strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've posted since back in September of 2023.
