Basketball Recap: Northridge Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Northridge won the last time they faced Andrean and things went their way on Saturday too. The Northridge Raiders put the hurt on the Andrean Fighting 59ers with a sharp 52-27 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 25 points or more this season.

Leading Northridge to victory were Lily Scholl and Rielyn Goodwin. Scholl went 8 of 10 on her way to 21 points and five steals, while Goodwin went 5 of 10 on her way to 13 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Scholl has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Conley, who posted ten points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Northridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Andrean only racked up seven assists.

The win was the fourth in a row for Northridge, bringing their record for this year to 14-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for Andrean, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Northridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-53 victory against Penn on the 28th. As for Andrean, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-39 win against Munster on the 3rd.
