After only 22 points in their last matchup, Callaway made sure to put some points up on the board against Pike County on Tuesday. The Cavaliers walked away with a 58-49 victory over the Pirates. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

Pike County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maliyah Holmes, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards. Reese McClosky was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Callaway's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Pike County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
