Mauldin is a perfect 9-0 against Woodmont since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mavericks will look to defend their home pitch against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Mauldin will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

If Woodmont heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Mauldin took over last week. The Mavericks walked away with a 3-1 victory over Hillcrest on Tuesday.

Mauldin hit the Rams with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kyle Monte, Thony Usuga, and Ali Muguerza.

Meanwhile, Woodmont unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to Greenville.

Woodmont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Mauldin, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Everything went Mauldin's way against Woodmont in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Mauldin made off with a 6-0 victory. Do the Mavericks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
