Lamar County scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 84-74 to the South Lamar Stallions. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lamar County's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for South Lamar, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Lamar County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-61 defeat against Sulligent on the 1st. As for South Lamar, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Pickens Academy at 6:30 p.m.
