Softball Recap: Elizabethtown Panthers vs. John Hardin Bulldogs

Elizabethtown stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past the John Hardin Bulldogs 19-1. The victory was familiar territory for Elizabethtown who now have 14 in a row.

Alyssa Philpot was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBI, and a double. Jessica Reynolds was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Elizabethtown pushed their record up to 17-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs per game. As for John Hardin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
