Volleyball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

Palmer lost against Blooming Grove two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Palmer was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Lexey Maxwell paced Palmer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Maxwell got some help from Harley Ellis and her 17 assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 26-13. As for Blooming Grove, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 21-16.

As of now, neither Palmer nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
