Flag football Recap: Contreras Pulls Away from Monroe

Monroe fell victim to Contreras and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 15-0 bruising from the Cobras. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Contreras, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-0 loss against San Ysidro on the 26th. As for Contreras, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Poly on the 26th.
