Soccer Game Preview: Stratford vs. Wando

Stratford is 0-10 against Wando since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Stratford Knights will take on the Wando Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Stratford will be strutting in after a victory while Wando will be coming in after a defeat.

If Wando heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Stratford took over last week. Stratford walked away with a 3-1 win over Hanahan on Friday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Wando was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of James Island by a score of 2-1. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Stratford now has a winning record of 2-1-2. As for Wando, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Stratford might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from Wando in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Stratford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
