Wando has gone a perfect 10-0 against Goose Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will take on the Gators at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wando has 17 straight victories, Goose Creek has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Thursday, Wando needed a bit of extra time to put away Bishop England. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Battling Bishops. Give Wando's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Goose Creek fell victim to Lucy Beckham and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Bengals. While losing is never fun, Goose Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Lucy Beckham are ranked second).

Goose Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wando, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.

Wando got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Goose Creek by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
